Halyk Bank and its subsidiaries provide retail and corporate banking services principally in Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Georgia, leasing services in Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as asset management, insurance and brokerage services in Kazakhstan. The Company's primary business includes originating loans and guarantees, collecting deposits, trading in securities and foreign currencies, executing transfers, cash and payment card operations as well as rendering other banking services to its customers. In addition, the Company acts as a non-exclusive agent of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in channelling various budgetary payments and pensions through its nationwide branch network.
