Tokai Carbon is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of carbon products and graphite electrodes. The Company operates five principal business segments. Graphite Electrodes segment handles artificial graphite electrodes for electric arc furnaces. Carbon Black segment manufactures and sells carbon black for rubber products, black pigments, and conductive materials. Fine Carbon segment manufactures and sells specialty graphite products, solid SiC and SiC coated graphite.
