Synopsis
European equities are set to open in negative territory. Asian equities trading lower Thursday whilst S&P 500 futures flat afterhours. Dollar seeing across-the-board gains, AUD down its lowest since Oct-2022 following Australian jobs data. Crude, base and precious metals markets little changed following earlier decline.
On today's agenda, Norges Bank policy decision at 10:00CET, also decision on the countercyclical capital buffer, press conf from Arendal Week at 10:30 CET (will be livestreamed). Other central bank events, Bundesbank's Balz speech at 8:00CET at event on the digital-euro, and again on the same topic at 12noon CET and Riksbank's Breman speech at 14:00CET on the economic situation and current monetary policy at a seminar arranged by Swedbank. In politics, new session of Spain's Congress of Deputies. Chancellor Scholz host Danish PM Frederiksen for talks.
