Hang Seng extending bull run with mainland stocks gaining. Japan, Korea, Australia and Taiwan all firming. S&P 500 futures declining afterhours.

    • UK MPs questions on Wales at 11:30BST and weekly PMQs at 12noon, Chancellor Reeves to announce results of government's second phase of its spending review setting out day-to-day departmental budgets until 2028/29 and capital departmental budgets until 2029/30, and after which, the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Bill continues its passage through parliament. In Germany, there's conf of interior ministers (through Fri).

    • Polish NPs due to hold vote of confidence called by PM Tusk. Järvaveckan 2025 (one of Sweden's most important events for socially engaged businesses, associations, authorities, politicians, and citizens) (through Sat) and 20th Brussels Forum (through Thu). UK Ofcom's CEO Dawes speaks at 11:30BST at London Tech Week. VivaTech summit (through Sat) sees keynote speech at 11:00CET by Nvidia's CEO and Sanofi's (SAN.FP) CEO panellist at 12:10. Event speakers also includes LVMH's (MC.FP) CEO Arnault (9:30 on Thu)

    • A light macro front sees Belgium Apr industrial production.

    • In earnings, Inditex (ITX.SM) reported Q1 net income €1.31B vs StreetAccount €1.28B and said store and online sales in c.FX between 1-May and 9-Jun increased +6%. Outokumpu (OUT1V.FH) issued a CMD update presenting financial targets for 2026-2030 including EBITDA run-rate improvement of €250M. Fnac Darty (FNAC.FP) presents its 2030 strategic plan and objectives: operating margin >3% by 2030, nearly 4 million subscribers for all services combined by 2030. In M&A, Demant (DEMANT.DC) announced it will acquire KIND Group for total consideration of €700M (~ DKK 5.2B) on cash- and debt-free basis, suspending its share buyback and keeping FY25 outlook unchanged
