    • European equity markets are indicated for a positive open amidst mostly higher Asian equities Friday. Hang Seng weighed down by food delivery companies following JD.com's earnings. Mainland China firming with Shenzhen Comp at highest since early 2022. Japan rebounding from Thursday's pullback while Australia and Taiwan benchmarks seeing mild gains. Korea closed for public holiday. S&P 500 futures marginally higher afterhours. Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Poland are closed for Assumption Day holiday.

    • in central banks, Czech central bank publishes minutes if its last MPC meeting.

    • Macro data due include a slew of UK Jun data including trade balance, industrial/manufacturing production and Jul monthly GDP tracker - NIES as well as Switzerland Q2 preliminary GDP and Norway Jul trade balance.

    • A light earnings front kicked off with VZ Holding (VZN.SW) reporting H1 net income CHF112.0M vs FactSet CHF108.5M whilst Deutsche EuroShop (DEQ.GR) is out with H1 FFO €0.98 vs year-ago €1.06. In the Nordics, Pandora (PNDORA.DC) reported Q2 EPS DKK10.30 vs consensus DKK10.08, confirmed FY25 guidance and said current trading in July has seen LFL growth at ~2%. Tokmanni (TOKMAN.FH) and Bjorn Borg (BORG.SS) also released results.

    • Also due to report today are NKT (NKT.DC), Fortum (FORTUM.FH) and NIBE Industrier (NIBE.B.SS).
