    • European equity markets are set to open in positive territory amidst Asian equities again trading mixed Thursday. Japan markets sharply lower heading into the close amid profit taking and rebalancing dynamics. Strong gains in Hong Kong albeit it off its day's high, mainland benchmarks also higher. Southeast Asia mostly lower. US futures mostly unchanged. US dollar unchanged, pressure on AUD and NZD but other forex quiet. Treasury yields mostly higher, JGB yields down. Crude oil higher, precious metals higher and industrial metals mixed. Cryptocurrencies higher following overnight losses.

    • Central interest rate decisions in focus kicking off with SNB interest rate decision at 9:30CET followed by Norges Bank interest rate decision and monetary policy report at 10:00CET. UK's BOE interest rate decision is announced at at 12:00GMT. In other central bank events, ECB Economic Bulletin and Bundesbank Monthly Report published. ECB's Buch speech at 9:00CET at EP's hearing of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs of the European Parliament. Netherlands Central Bank's Knot and BOE's Mann speak at event organised by Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). Norges Bank's Moen speech at 17:00CET at Norwegian Finance Society. Bank of France's Villeroy speaks at 18:30CET at event hosted by House of Finance

    • Further on today's agenda, Germany's Ministry of Finance releases its latest Monthly Report as well as Deutsche Bahn FY earnings and press conf. EU heads of state and government meet in Brussels for the first nuclear energy summit, co-chaired by the IAEA and Belgium ahead of the start of the EU Summit (through Fri). EU's Simson panellist at the Nuclear Energy Summit 2024, and in UK, MPs general debates on Committees reports on armed forces readiness and defence equipment and on food security. Elsewhere, French President Macron continues State visit to Brazil.

    • Macroeconomic updates include: Eurozone, France, Germany, UK Mar flash manufacturing/services PMIs, France Mar business confidence, Netherlands Feb unemployment rate, Norway Feb unemployment rate, UK Feb public sector borrowing. Also, European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) Feb new passenger car registrations for the EU + EFTA + UK.

    • In corporate news, EnergieKontor (EKT.GR) reports FY net income €83.3M vs FactSet €59.6M and hikes divi by 20%. Still in the DACH region, Scout24 (G24.GR) confirms preliminary FY23 financials; confirms financial guidance framework for 2024 - 2026; proposes dividend of €1.20/sh, +20% y/y. BayWa (VYW6.GR) reports FY net income (€93.4M) vs FactSet €25.2M and updates medium term guidance. Jungheinrich (JUN3.GR) reports FY EPS €2.94 vs FactSet €3.08 and announces highest divi in company's history. Aluflexpack (AFP.SW) reports final FY earnings: net income €10.5M vs FactSet €5.8M and reaffirms 2024 guidance. Dermapharm Holding (DMP.GR) reports final FY earnings in line with preliminary release; EPS €1.16 vs FactSet €2.30; reaffirms dividend proposal and 2024 guidance.
