    • China's State Council announced various initiatives to boost incomes in a bid to stimulate consumption growth. Policy highlights include promoting wage growth, minimum wage adjustments, and establishing childcare subsidy scheme. More details expected at Monday's press conference to be held by representatives of government bodies. On Friday, National Financial Regulatory Administration also announced measures to promote financing support for consumption.

    • Central banks headline busy week. Fed expected to hold, with focus on updated SEP and Powell's press conference. BOJ expected to hold as policymakers assess impact of January's increase. US retail sales another focus following deterioration in consumer confidence. Across Asia. China Jan-Feb activity data expected to show weakness in industrial production and modest pickup in retail sales growth. Australia employment data forecast to show still tight labor market. New Zealand Q4 GDP forecast to show economy emerged from recession.

    • More press coverage of US-China equity market divergence. Notion of 'Trump put' being further OOTM driven by unrelenting tariff announcements and White House dismissiveness of market weakness.
