    • European equity market futures point to a mixed open. Asia equities higher for a second consecutive day Tuesday. Best gains in Australia, Taiwan and South Korea while Greater China and Southeast Asia more mixed. India flat in early trading. US futures slightly lower.

    • Reuters reports France's government will push lawmakers to approve emergency legislation to keep the state running into January after they failed to agree on a 2026 budget, a stopgap measure to avert a shutdown.

    • ECB's Schnabel told FAZ podcast on Mon she does not expect interest rates to be lifted for some time, barring any unforeseen events.

    • Meanwhile in the UK, British Chambers of Commerce said the UK's existing trade and cooperation agreement (TCA) was failing to help them grow their sales in the EU and a closer EU trade deal is a "strategic necessity" (Guardian). FT cites latest UK official house price figures for October showing that property prices contracted y/y in 18 of the 33 London boroughs, in contrast with a +1.7% house price increase across the UK.

    • Macro data include Spain Q3 final GDP, Nov PPI, Switzerland Dec economic sentiment index, Sweden Nov PPI, Belgium Dec CPI, Nov PPI with Finland Nov unemployment rate already on the tape.

    • A light corporate front sees Novo Nordisk (NOVO.B.DC) Wegovy pill approved in the US as first oral GLP-1 for weight management whilst Terveystalo (TTALO.FH) acquires Hohde Group with EV ~€88M.

    • Of note, Intea Fastigheter (INTEA.B.SS) EGM in connection with previously disclosed placing of class-D shares.
