    • In central banks, ECB Largarde panellist at 9:10CET at the World Economic Forum's International Business Council (IBC) meeting. Iceland interest rate decision at 9:30BST. Benchmark interest rate is expected to be increase +25bps to 8.00%. FOMC minutes after EU close.

    • In politics, UK PM Burnham due to be in conversation at 12.15BST at Edinburgh Fringe, whilst former UK Chancellor and Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt will be discussing his book 'Can We Be Great Again?' at 15:00BST. Hungarian President-elect Andras Baka due to take office.

    • Macro data will include Eurozone Jul final CPI, UK Jul CPI/RPI/PPI input/output, Austria Jul final CPI and Switzerland Q2 industrial production

    • In earnings, DACH names led by Straumann Holding (STMN.SW), Geberit (GEBN.SW) and Sunrise Communications (SUNN.SW), while BKW (BKW.SW) also expects FY EBIT at the lower end of its target range. In the Nordics, H. Lundbeck (HLUN.B.DC), Lerøy Seafood Group (LSG.NO), Jyske Bank (JYSK.DC) and FLSmidth (FLS.DC) were among the main names reporting, with FLSmidth also adjusting its FY guidance. Elsewhere, ASR Nederland (ASRNL.NA) reported H1 results in the Benelux region.
