Synopsis
European equity markets are set to open in negative territory amid Asian equities mostly higher Thursday. Greater China markets nudging higher with autos a standout in Hong Kong. Japan flat. Benchmarks in Australia, Korea and Taiwan little changed. S&P 500 futures up slightly afterhours. Bonds mixed with Treasuries and JGBs little changed while Australian yields backing up following hawkish takeaways from Wednesday's CPI print. Dollar weakest against Aussie, yen and Koran won, steady elsewhere. Crude coming off highs that followed hawkish Trump shift on Russia. Gold flat after pulling back from record high. Bitcoin extending retreat from overnight high.
In central banks, SNB interest rate decision at 9:30CET - benchmark unchanged at 0.0%, with news conf. ECB's latest Economic Bulletin published at 10:00CET. Slovak central bank publishes its Autumn Economic and Monetary Development. Chancellor Merz participates in the Conf. of Minister-Presidents of the Eastern European Regions, joint press conf planned at conclusion. Also on Thur, European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) Aug new passenger car registrations for EU + EFTA + UK and UK Aug car production is out for release.

KGaA (KWS.GR) released FY earnings, adopted new dividend policy and provided guidance for FY25/26 as well as medium-term targets for 2028. TKH Group (TWEKA.NA) presents 'Capitalize & Execute 2028' strategy during CMD today.
