    • European indices are set to open a tad higher today as Asian equities largely pared early losses to trade higher Friday. Nikkei gaining ground but being led by Topix. Mainland China mixed but the Hang Seng rallying. Australia and Singapore higher; some losses for the Kospi but it is well off its trough. India lower again. US futures lower for now

    • US equities finished somewhat mixed in Thursday trading, ending off worst levels. Breadth was narrowly positive and equal-weight S&P (RSP) outpaced cap-weighted index by more than 100 bp. Big tech underperformance a big story

    • Friday sees, in central banks, Norges Bank releases its Annual Report at 10:00CET, the same time as the ECB publishes the results of it's latest consumer expectation survey. Estonia central bank introduces at 10:00CET the bank's newly completed economic financing survey, (what are the financing options for Estonian households and companies).
