BNY collects fees from DR holders pursuant to the terms and conditions of the DRs and any deposit agreement under which they are issued.  From time to time, BNY may make payments to an issuer to reimburse and/or share revenue from the fees collected from DR holders, or waive fees and expenses to an issuer for services provided, generally related to costs and expenses arising out of establishment and maintenance of the DR program.  BNY may pay a rebate to brokers in connection with unsponsored DR issuances; brokers may or may not disclose or pass back some or all of such rebate to the DR investor.  BNY may also use brokers, dealers or other service providers that are affiliates and that may earn or share fees and commissions.

    • Asian markets set for mixed start to Thursday trade. Futures signaling muted open in Japan and small decline in Hong Kong. Australia unchanged in initial trade. S&P 500 futures slightly weaker afterhours after US indexes ended below best levels in Wednesday trade. Australian bonds mixed with front-end yields higher in a curve flattening move. Treasury yields ended down 4-7 bp overnight. Crude recovering in post-settlement trade while gold and silver pulling back. FX markets steady after dollar recouped losses against majors. Bitcoin holding above $70K.

    • Market digesting another deluge of diplomacy headlines after Iran rejected claims it is ready to make deal and refused to confirm upcoming negotiations. Posturing not altogether surprising with US insisting talks taking place and Iran confirming receipt of peace proposals. Also unclear who will represent two sides in Pakistan. Press sources said VP Vance may participate but no confirmation about Iranian side. Stakes high with US and Iran threatening to intensify conflict and skepticism differences can be bridged with Iranian demands such as control over Hormuz likely unpalatable to Arab states.

    • In other developments White house confirmed Trump-Xi summit will be held in Beijing on May 14-15 after Trump delayed a meeting originally slated for later in March to focus on Iran war. However, White House would not say whether Iran conflict will be concluded by then. RBA Assistant Governor Kent said board balancing tighter financial conditions against rise in inflation expectations as it weighs case for restrictive policy stance. In company news, Temu-owned PDD up 4% in US after results showed pickup in revenue growth amid competitive pressures.
