Trump also announced 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. Markets increasingly looking past Middle East headlines with risk sentiment rebounding as ceasefire holds up and two sides pursue diplomacy.

    • Asian markets tracking for another positive week with tech-heavy benchmarks in Japan, Taiwan and South Korea up 5-6% week-to-date. Easing geopolitical tensions shifting focus back to AI optimism, underlined by more compute deals, positive funding headlines and earnings optimism. TSMC (2330.TT) takeaways mostly positive following Thursday's beat and raise with group also guiding up capex amid strong AI-related demand. Stock ended down 3% in US with stock having already rallied to record high ahead of results.
