US-Iran MoU being tested amid reports Tehran suspending negotiations following President Trump's threat to relaunch strikes if Hezbollah continues to engage with Israel. On weekend Iran declared Strait of Hormuz closed again, claiming continued fighting in Lebanon violated terms of MoU. US delegation met Iranian officials in Switzerland to begin talks on contentious issues including uranium enrichment and sanctions relief. Vance acknowledged latest complications, though maintained progress made during talks. Confusion about Strait of Hormuz and early indications of a chill in shipping activity driven an early morning rebound in crude.
China expected to leave loan prime rate unchanged Monday. CPI prints feature this week with fuel-driven cost pressures seen lifting Australian underlying inflation (Wed).
