BNY collects fees from DR holders pursuant to the terms and conditions of the DRs and any deposit agreement under which they are issued.  From time to time, BNY may make payments to an issuer to reimburse and/or share revenue from the fees collected from DR holders, or waive fees and expenses to an issuer for services provided, generally related to costs and expenses arising out of establishment and maintenance of the DR program.  BNY may pay a rebate to brokers in connection with unsponsored DR issuances; brokers may or may not disclose or pass back some or all of such rebate to the DR investor.  BNY may also use brokers, dealers or other service providers that are affiliates and that may earn or share fees and commissions.

    • Asian markets set for negative start to Wednesday trade. Futures signaling steep opening losses in Japan and South Korea and flat start in Hong Kong. ASX futures saw mild declines in comparison. S&P 500 futures flat following tech/semi-led retreat on Tuesday. Australian bonds weakening after Treasury yields backed up overight. Crude extending rebound to two-week high. Gold and silver adding to earlier declines. Dollar inching higher against yen. Bitcoin little changed.

    • Volatility in momentum trade continued with SOX swinging down by 5%. Follows big memory selloff in Asia on Tuesday led by Samsung Electronics after its preliminary Q2 failed to clear high earnings bar. Backup in yields/oil rebound mentioned as a drag amid latest Hormuz flare-up and there was some attention to reports DeepSeek to develop its own AI chips. Memory volatility being viewed as a function of crowded longs being unwound, encouraging rotation into other sectors.

    • RBNZ expected to hike OCR by 25 bp to 2.50% Expectations for July rate hike supported by inflation risks that are shaping concerns about an unanchoring of inflation expectations. Any rate hike expected to be accompanied by forward guidance hinging further moves on incoming data, though some economists expect RBNZ to take OCR to neutral 3.00% by end-2026. In Reuters interview, BOJ board member and reflationist Asada said he wanted to signs of demand-driven inflation before supporting rate hikes.
