    • Asia equities rallied further Wednesday following the overnight surge on Wall Street that took the S&P 500 to a fresh record high, and as futures indicate another strong open this morning in the US. SpaceX's after-hours share price decline unlikely to dissuade the bulls who received support overnight from Treasury Secretary Bessent who said a deal with Iran was imminent and an Axios report that said the US, Iran and Oman would announce an agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz later today. Asia equities received a further boost as the dollar remained at six-week lows, boosting local currencies and providing an additional tailwind.

Japan real wages rose for a sixth consecutive month. India's central bank kept its repo rate steady, raised its FY GDP growth forecast and lowered inflation projections but warned over risks to both forecasts from weather and geopolitical developments.
