BNY collects fees from DR holders pursuant to the terms and conditions of the DRs and any deposit agreement under which they are issued.  From time to time, BNY may make payments to an issuer to reimburse and/or share revenue from the fees collected from DR holders, or waive fees and expenses to an issuer for services provided, generally related to costs and expenses arising out of establishment and maintenance of the DR program.  BNY may pay a rebate to brokers in connection with unsponsored DR issuances; brokers may or may not disclose or pass back some or all of such rebate to the DR investor.  BNY may also use brokers, dealers or other service providers that are affiliates and that may earn or share fees and commissions.

    • AI trade was stronger with semis/memory rallying (SOX up 3%). Most of the focus was on Anthropic's pre-IPO filing, which revealed 1300% lift in H1 revenue but also heavy reliance on Google, Amazon and Microsoft to generate top line growth and it foreshadowed growth rate slowdown. Company disclosed $77B in financing commitments from Amazon, Broadcom, and Google. As flagged, large section of the filing was devoted to risks. Meta's $95B equity raise and SpaceX's $40B debt deal to finance Nvidia GPU acquisition also helped support capex narrative.

    • Crude pullback the other market development following weekend headlines about Mideast diplomatic efforts though skepticism remains high talks will yield any breakthroughs. Expectations for a resumption of kinetic action after November midterms continue build with elections only a week away. Press have highlighted how US forces are ready to launch major combat operations while Iran has threatened to strike a wide array of targets across Middle East if it is attacked.
